Deer Life
Deer Life is a music project. It is a space for me to release my music without excessive pretext, along with any demos, collaborations and works that i feel are worth releasing. Music has always been something that I have been compelled to create, but details such as band image, formal releases and promotion have always confused and frustrated me.
Because of this, my music has wound up spread across a billion different artist profiles, with no one place to see my whole body of work.
I am so so sick of this and I want Deer Life to be one place. I also really just feel that it isn’t that deep anymore. I spent far too long making (and not making) music to some bizarre standard that my adolescent mind created, seemingly just to torture myself. As I have gotten older I have really embraced music as a method of expression, communication and an opportunity connect with community and my friends. if it means something to me then it doesnt need to be perfect.
With that in mind, I will be collating a number of my past musical projects and moving them under the Deer Life moniker, to be found here, on a central bandcamp page and likely other streaming platforms.
I will also hopefully be releasing some new stuff! And doing some collaborations which should be fun. Most of it is alternative bedroom music with a DIY focus because i love DIY forever.
