blog entry 07/06/2026

Hello, wow, this is my first ever blog entry. I have decided to create it becasue i felt slightly compeled to write. I've been quite unemployed and quite sober lately and that has been a bit of a shift, it has given me a lot of free time and allowed me to do some thinking.
I am currently mulling over the ethics of content creation.
For example creating art for the most part seems like something that can't really be ethically wrong, right? Assuming it's not problematic or whatever. But right now im little bit bothered by how much content I see.
Like I see so much content!
I hear so many different opinions everyday on the internet and it sometimes makes my brain fuzzy. It's sort of interesting because we're starting to enter some territory that we've never been in before. Even in my life time i have seen the internet change significantly and I am only 23. I think maybe we're in one of the first times in history where we have too much information.
I really like the name 'The Information Age'. It describes this era quite well. I think the social media can have an incredible hold on our emotions and it feels important to make art that people can connect with rather than any kind of slop.
I often worry about how my own goals might contribute to this noise filled landscape.

To be honest i think i fear my own ego a little bit, and i fear that secretly I would anything that will get me praise or attention, including creating cheap art that i don't care about for a social media machine i hate.
On the other side I also have fears about my worthiness of this attention. As if the only reason I should ever get it is by creating something so ethically pure that it could never be tarnished, so virtuous that an angel would cry upon seeing it.
But I guess that's not how art works. and I can only ever create something flawed but human, within a system that is flawed but human. If I can learn to be steadfast in my goals of creating honest and ethically consious art while accepting the this art will never be perfect, I can probably learn to create a lot more comfortably and with a lot less neurodicism.
Or maybe I just need to get a job ...

The leaves are dense but the sky still pushes through them. Green and orange, brown branches twisting behind, from beyond. The wind blows and they move. Just the littlest branches first, shaking swinging out of time. Then comes a stronger gust and the thick branches from beyond shake, the tree is alive, twisting and gnarling. Each leaf is no larger than a matchbox, but there are thousands of them. So many that the top section of the tree, with its bare branches, stands to contrast. Spindles of thin branches jutting into the sky, from here, you might ask what it did so wrong to have no leaves covering its bare bones, with only a few yellow ones still clinging here and there. But then you might remember the season, and the reddish orange hue of the leaves. And then you might realise that this branch is not in fact behind, but ahead of its siblings. Its leaves have grown and greened first, and now have been the first to fall. And in knowing this you might ask, what did it do so right?
